Oh yeah, exploration, yeah.

Range wasn't sure how he had made it this far. Between sweet puppy naps and a few unneeded detours, he had been traveling for about five hours. But time wasn't really a factor in the youngster's mind. He wasn't worried about Gideon looking for him; Melee seemed to always be on the road. He envied her in a way. Even with her deformity she still seemed to participate in every thing a 'normal' pup would.. And compared to him, she had experienced life more then he had. The pup studied the boundless land that was laid out in front of him, sniffing at the air for a trace of an interesting scent. The smell of the Dahlia territory was long gone; seeming to have disappeared with the last gust of wind that had whipped by. Of course this was not actually the case, but with the cold resting so heavily in the air his sense of smell was not at its best.

The pup's stomach growled, killing the silence with its awful gurgling sound. He glanced around, searching for a small patch of revealed grass. He knew that he did not yet have enough skill to kill a rabbit on his own.. Not that he was a fan of killing any ways. "Maybe wes can be like daddy!" He smiled at this thought; but no water was to be found. The pup gave a small sigh before carrying on towards his destination, keeping his nose on the ground as he searched for any hint of some thing edible.

It did not take long for the pup to pick up a scent. Though he was not sure it was one that would lead him to food, it was some thing. He lifted his head, searching the land that was laid out before him. The trees were the same as the ones he had seen on his way here. It was much like the scent of Conor's land.. Just in a different area. And definitely by a different wolf. It was a difficult thing to describe, but over time he would get used to the smell left by others to mark their territory. He hesitated for a moment or two, worried about how the wolf defending the border would greet him. Not all things were friendly, that was for sure. He made sure to keep his ears flattened and tail low, a sure sign of submissiveness by any wolf. Curiosity was a huge trait of his.. But even with his young age he had at least some common sense.

The boy cocked a brow upon seeing the pup. His body looked a bit more evened out then then the brown furred boy, but he didn't look to be as old as Gideon. Range gave a small yip to get his attention, his tail waggling behind him. He wouldn't of minded being greeted by an adult, but he had to admit he felt comfortable around younger audiences.
