The shock of his brother's death had effected him, changing his life forever. Though there was a time Izaak scared him, he loved his brother/cousin; he never wanted this to happen. He never expected his death to come so soon. Zak always told him he loved him and always seemed worried that he would leave him. Now, Zak was gone; he left him to live this world without his presence. Even though this upset him, he didn't shed a tear. Sascha couldn't remember the last time he cried, if he ever did in his life. There was this pain, however, in his chest and it seemed so foreign to him. He didn't understand; this never happened when his mother died.

Sascha just sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the wall as if he was very entertained. Here and there he would create noise by blowing raspberries sentence, something he normally did. He heard a door close which made the boy stop filling the air with sound. It sounded like his father's door and Sascha's ruby eyes flickered to the door even though he did not have the capability to see through it. For a moment, he didn't move. He wasn't sure if he wanted to follow him or not, if he wanted to leave his room. He kept to himself more than usual after the death which was why he was putting more thought to it. He had little motivation to crawl out of his space.

Some time had passed and he finally rose from his bed. He walked over to his already packed bag and club to equip himself, strapping the club on his back and draping his bag on his shoulder. He grabbed the door knob, hesitating before opening it but he did. He headed out and made his way outside while blowing raspberries once more. As soon as he left the mansion he was greeted by Donder. The young buffalo had gotten use to his noise and would come every time her heard it. With one hand, he petted his friend on the head. He scanned his surroundings, wondering where his father might have gone but nothing gave him the answer until he looked down and found some tracks made from a horse. They appeared fresh and heading out in a certain direction which gave him an idea of where Cotl might have gone.

Before he took off, he had to find Blitzen; he was now in his care. The albino reindeer had yet to get use to his sound and so he had to look for him. Though, he knew he wouldn't be far since he seemed to take a liking to Donder. He looked around, walking to the back of the mansion to find Blitzen sniffing the ground as if he were searching for something. He had a basket that held treats and food for him and Donder so he walked over and took out an apple and hay with both hands. He went over to Blitzen since he was closer and fed him the apple then fed Donder the hay before heading off to meet his father. He made sure both of them were following, looking over his shoulder or beside him every now and then. It took time but he finally reached his destination only to find his father with another. The situation, in his eyes, did not look like it was going well and Sascha froze in his tracks off in the distance. He hesitated in whether to expose himself or not; if they haven't noticed him already. He took a hard swallow, his posture awkward as ever, as his legs began to move again. As he got close, he could hear the stranger's tone and it sounded horrible. It made Sascha want to hide. His hands were fisted as he continued his approach until he was to the side of him. No doubt they had noticed him now if not before.

The boy had arrived just in time to hear the ending of what the other said, though not enough to know what was going on. He was concerned and he obviously didn't show bravery at the moment. His tail, what little he had, was pressed against him and he displayed nothing but fear. He was a coward, never really been brave and that was thanks to his upbringing. He only looked at the stranger for a split second before his eyes fell upon his father. He noticed his brother's fur and skull, making Sas question why he had them here. He stood there quietly with Donder and Blitzen behind him. He didn't know what to do....
