He was, for once, at ease. The older man did not concern himself now with anything but this. Although he reserved some small amount of attention for his surroundings in case any problems arose, the drink had the ability to let him relax and enjoy a moment. Grateful for this, and for the attention he was receiving from such a young, lovely woman, he did not and would not object to her affections-- even if they were temporary and drug-induced.

Kesho could not remember the last time he'd been touched affectionately by a woman. Truthfully, the last mention of any sort of sexual contact in his history before his return was when he'd been infected by the virus. That had been a strange encounter, and it hadn't been incredibly sensual or romantic, either. With an inward grumble, the old man dismissed these troubling thoughts to focus his attentions back to Talitha, who now spoke to him once more.

"Tell me about yourself, dear one." she said, as she took another good swig from the bottle, which was growing emptier by the second.

"Well, lovely," he began honestly, taking a quick, thirsty sip from the drink, "what would you like to know?" The man lifted his hand a bit, requesting the bottle once more, before it was finished. "I have plenty of stories to share, although you might be bored by them." He did not find his past incredibly entertaining, and so figured that other people wouldn't, either. After all, the details were unimportant in the long run, right?

Kesho leaned his head back to stare up at the halfway destroyed roof of the mansion, the sun's rays just barely coming through the cracked and broken wooden beams. With a sigh he leveled his face once again and glanced down briefly at the royalty snuggling up next to him. Either he was a lucky man, or she was too drunk to notice his hardened demeanor and aging, graying face.
