There was no turning back, as he saw Vigilante’s face appear as he opened the door. Niro gave the man a smile, he wasn’t sure if it was convincing, it might have looked like a scared smile, but he was happy to see the man, though he was afraid of what he would do.
“Do you think we could take a walk? If you are available of course.”
Walking seemed to help calm nerves, or so Niro hoped. He wanted to make Vigil as comfortable as possible, but Niro have the biting need to walk, to move his feet while he told Vigilante what was going on. This wasn’t like telling him that he had children by his niece. They were already born and lived away from the pack. This was the leaders daughter, and though they were mated, they were both young, her a bit younger than him, and the pups had not been born yet, though Niro was sure Vigilante would be furious if he came to him after the puppies were born. Thinking, as he always did Vigil knew about his other transgression, which meant he probably saw Niro as nothing but a man with little control over his manhood. This was not true. He didn’t believe that but he kept trying to convince himself. He’d been befriending other females lately and had no desires for them. His piece of mind was not working, he still worried about what the leader would say as he waited for the response of the man himself.
