Ember hoped that she hadn't made him uncomfortable. She wanted to look presentable, in case she ran into any other pack members. And she did want to look nice for Tristan, too. But she figured that he'd already seen her at her worst, so she wasn't in too big of a hurry to find a brush. Just whenever he had time.
She started after him, coming upon the lake. It was warm enough that she felt she could swim in it without getting too cold. She could go all the way in. The girl approached the shore , testing the temperature of the water and stepping forward into it. A bit chillier than she had expected, but not too bad. She sank beneath the surface, rolling around underwater, over and over before she came back up for air. "It's nice! Now that I'm in, it feels a lot warmer" She knew that they were supposed to be hunting, but couldn't they have a little fun first?
