The week or so had left the pack stressed out mentally. Mars even more so stressed out because he did not know if the woman was dead or alive, and he did not like not being close to her. Having Orin safely next door was one of those things that helped Mars sleep at night. Now that she was not there, sleep had been lost, and Bartholomew could not come out if Mars was not asleep. Krystalle probably noticed this already. She probably also would have noticed that Mars had been giving this look of pure hatred on his face. He was pissed off more often than not now because of all of this. He wore his sunglasses on his face, unwilling to let people see his eyes that showed anger. Mars looked around his house, him standing around with his white outfit on (looking rather professional or some odd reason) that he had finished only days before (he'd been working on these for some time now, since before he left Cour Des Miracles) and he had looked to his burning fireplace to see a kettle of tea sitting there. He figured Krystalle had been ready or tea time. It was around time for tea, but Mars didn't know if he could relax enough for tea. It'd been a few days since he was able to sit down and drink some tea to calm his wired nerves. He didn't know if Krystalle understood why he was so anxious lately. He failed to tell her either way.

The man had heard a howl rise to the sky and vibrate off of his walls faintly. It was urgent and calling the pack, in which the man would look over to where Krystalle was. That's us. the man spoke to her before he had taken his shades and put them over his eyes and he left the house to head where the Alpha and the woman by the name of Sky lived. The walk to the house was nothing since Thornbury was pretty small and Sky did not live too far from the Russo man. Mars trudged along, making it to the woman's door first. He looked at his pacing Alpha who stood on the porch of the house. Mars would only assume that Shawchert would have something to say about the murders. Mars wondered what was the scoop on this, because the last he knew was that they found one of Shaw's puppies dead and then there was blood in Orin's place. If he could barely protect his own puppies, then why trust Shaw to protect them? Mars found that he would and could look out for himself and Krystalle if need be since they were the ones in his house. He didn't trust shaw no more did he trust any other wolf in CdA right now. There was a murderer around and as far as Mars was concerned it was shaw's fault in the first place. Yeah, that's right, Mars did want to play the blame game, even if it was done silently, and from behind those dark sunglasses. He did not greet his Alpha, nor the half-pint that was his mate, instead, he stood there with his hands crossed over his chest.
