He could never admit that pack life was growing on him but it certainly wasn't a burden to have these wolves running around getting him food all because of some dumb teamwork concept. As long as he got off with the easy jobs he was perfectly fine with the 'lend a hand' deal. His mother had attempted to teach him to share with his brother and that working together was beneficial to both involved however, his father had taught him a lesson much closer to his heart. When his father anted something the dutch shepherd didn't work as a team mate and give a little to get a little. No, when Draco Trovato wanted something done he had people to do it for him. People who groveled at his feet and begged him to spare them when they showed up without the job done.

So here he was taking his sweet ass time to walk around this stupid mountain and make sure that no idiots decided to wander to close. It was logical, he had decided, for a pack to defend its borders. It was their home, in some strange and unfathomable way. Today the hybrid had decided to stroll along in his halfling form, a much easier form to travel in when moving across the rougher terrain of the mountain side. He had been following a scent trail for a few minutes now, obviously someone who didn't belong to Anathema. For now he followed it quite a ways from their caves and along smoother ground.

As the stranger he had been tracking came into view the Italian remained out of site, watching her every move. A strange creature, foreign to his knowledge, appeared to be a pet of this ebony female adding to his curiosity. Who was she? Maybe she wouldn't mind a little fooling around as an ultimatum to him letting her be so close to the pack lands. His hunger getting the best of him the brittle marked coy-dog stepped closer to the wolfess with a smirk, “Now what's a pretty little thing like you doing so close to the mountains?” A sly grin, which could easily be confused for friendly, graced his muzzle as he waiting silently for a reply.
