It's empty in the valley of your heart [p]

Well, you most defiantly are not a terrible person. But I am a very excited person about this thread so I wrote a deathly amount. :p

It felt like everything was moving in slow motion. The past couple weeks had been nothing but lethargic. Ever hadn’t had a choice of whether or not to stay in bed or around the house. Eventually, she ended up going out a few times when the throbbing in her wrist didn’t drive her mad. But, other things did.

Ezra had tried his dearest, she knew, to assist her in any way but the girl knew that the man had other duties to take care of. Even when pain clouded her eyes she sent him away, assuring herself as well as him that she would be fine. She knew he wasn’t oblivious to her schemes that were given hardly enough thought.

And even more damage caused by the storm seemed to force its way into their life. After nearly falling into the ice, Ever found it hard to leave their beach side shack. She tried not to think about her horrific dreams that woke her up, and Ezra. Although she knew he was trying terribly to not worry about her so she tried to do as much as she could to be strong.

This morning was different however. Her mate had tossed all night, waking her up every time the sheets were disturbed. She was generally a light sleeper and immediately let his troubled thoughts and abrupt waking go by without consultation. It was her turn to worry about him, although the silver hybrid didn’t bring it up.

By the time her eyes closed again, she had found herself dreaming. It was more of a nightmare, she realized, as the girl watched the whole world nearly fall into itself. She found it disturbing to have such a similar theme to when she had gotten knocked out after falling down the slope with Saphraine. Her throat formed a yelp as her vision contorted while she fell, but before she could produce an earsplitting sound, Ever felt a light brushing along her neckline. The movement woke her almost suddenly, although she did not open her eyes.

She could feel his breath on her neck and she let out a gentle gasp, too short to be a sigh, before awaking. Ocean hued eyes stared for a long moment at the ceiling, gaze paused on a wooden plank. Nothing moved, nothing sunk. Everything was still.

But as always, Ezra’s touch brought her to life. She felt his lips on her shoulder and her eyes and body turned towards his. His scent made her chest twist with desire. Her legs pressed against each other with delete when he greeted her. Ever let out a short giggle and pressed her face to the covers.

His next question caught her off guard and stopped her excitable squirming. She lifted her face from the sheets to look at him closely. Every detail was crystal clear, as usual. He was serious. Ever smiled very slightly but turned the opposite way to look out the biggest window in the house. Had she woken late? Was he merely reminding her it was time to go?

Cherry red was bleeding into the sky and blending pink along the ocean horizon. It was still early and the girl was surprised Ezra had gotten up before her to wake her. Easily, the thought excited her and she moved back around to snuggle against his white chest. Even in Secui form, her Optime was still smaller.

I will teach you, of course,

The girl responded as if the question was one heard every day.
