In Character

His chest rose and fell heavily as he released a low sigh; he was rather unimpressed. “Stupid bastard, none of them can keep their mouths shut to fucking fuck their mothers” he mumbled under his breath, his voice barely audible to even himself. Further incoherent grumbles came from him until he got the majority of his irritation off his ‘chest’. Blue eyes narrowed slightly, as a pleasant thought crossed his mind; I’m gonna sew the moths shut of whoever has been spreading shit about me. Slowly his eyes focused upon the female before him.

The monotone female that was now the focal point of his wrath was… ordinary. Aside from her split coat he could not note anything extraordinary about her. So why? She was a weak female who seemed to have balls twice the size than half the males he knew and had encountered. His tongue flicked across his teeth at the memory of his many fun encounters; those he encountered normally knew enough about him from simple observation to know not to wake him. Those that he’d spent more time with knew not to approach him when he was in a secluded place.

A frown formed, turning his expression to that of disapproval. If the female had heard about him enough to identify him, then she should know not to approach him the way she had. Maybe she was suicidal? Well… he was more than happy to assist her with her death. A low chuckle came from him at such thoughts; it would seem he’d been approached by a suicidal bitch.

Luck seemed to be back with him or some all-mighty being had directed a fun new toy in his direction. His lips pulled into a smirk “Hrmmm” he hummed out loud as his mind raced, plotting his next few steps. Once his plan was formed, he pulled his Katana free of it sheath and raised the blade in front of him.

Light bounced and reflected of the blade; he found himself lost in the way something so deadly could reflect light so beautifully. With his free hand, he ran a finger slowly and purposefully down the length of the blade’s edge, then raised it and carefully licked the point of the blade. The weapon felt cool upon his tongue and he could feel the sharpness of it.

Deliberately taking his time, he placed the sword back in it’s scabbard. His head fell slightly to the side in a cocky manner, his smirk still in place. “It’s sharp too”.

He was being an arse and he knew it, but then, when wasn’t he an arse? Being ‘nice’ was a foreign concept to him; he could not understand why others felt compelled to be polite and kind. Such positive interaction was boring and resulted in nothing. Finally, his tensed muscles relaxed and he placed his Katana completely into its black scabbard; but one hand remained loosely fixed upon it’s pommel.

It occurred to him that, since the female had called out his name as if it was a question that she only had a vague idea of who he was and that she was looking for him. Maybe I’ll play with her a little.

“Little girls like you shouldn’t be looking for the likes of him. He’s a complete arse.” He said to her, his voice seemingly filled with concern and matching the warning to his words. He paused for effect and considered his next words. “Regardless, why are you looking for him? Needing someone to kill you or has he done something to offend you?”

His acting skills impressed himself; he knew that if anything, he was a convincing liar. He’d play innocent and act as if he was someone else until he knew the female’s motives and who had spoken of him.
