The rage she encountered in dealing with her father caused her to sprint into the darkness without goodbye. She simply couldn't be there. She couldn't continue to walk across Inferni's lands, pretending all was fine between her and the men she claimed. Gabriel had committed a sin in the eyes of his princess daughter. Talitha had taken her anger out on Ezekiel. The Warrior-prince didn't want her, and the God-king couldn't keep her. The world turned dark as the massive form of a hysteric Lykoi hurtled across dead earth. Her life was nothing, her family was nothing. Gabriel had destroyed what little pride she gathered. God was angry. She suffered for her wrongdoings. But did he?
A familiar voice managed to stop her. Ma'am, a phrase only used in reference to the russet woman. The non-Lykoi was somewhere nearby. Large skull snapped toward the side, teeth bared. "Leave me be, child." The growled words were meant as warning; she wasn't to be toyed with in that moment, though she would never harm a member of the clan who pushed their presence upon her. She simply wanted to be gone, in Caillen's arms instead of amongst tainted family. It was all so wrong. Everything was wrong. The fire that had destroyed her birthplace had managed to destroy something in the life of her family. Their sense of coyote pride, perhaps.
