Haven's own fears about becoming a father had dissipated early and showed no signs of resurfacing now that his children were finally here. The Knight knew that he would always act in their best interest, and would never do anything to cause them pain. He would rather drive his sword through his own gut than bring any sort of harm to the three pups that he had helped create. It was a gruesome image, but it fit how powerfully he felt on the subject of not hurting his kids. The man sensed that Princess still might have some lingering worries but he saw no reason for her concern. She was already proving a wonderful mother, just as he knew that she would. Together, they would bring their children up right. They would have good, sound morals and they would always know they were loved. Princess and Haven would never abandon them. There was no place either of them would rather be.
Robin bit playfully at her brother's large paw before she jumped back and barked at him in a clearly taunting way. Linden rolled over and rose to his sibling's challenge, tumbling after her and knocking her over until they were just a ball of flailing limbs and soft growls and yips. Felicity seemed to turn her nose up at this as she sat primly by her father. Haven chuckled at this, enjoying seeing his pups' personalities make themselves known. A shape moved in his periphery and the Knight turned his head to see his mate watching them all with a smile on her face. Haven smiled back at her, and his hand rose in a motion to bring her to join them. "Did you sleep well? You still look a little tired." Pregnancy, and then the labor, had taken a lot out of his slim Lady and he couldn't help but worry after her a bit.
