Yay! Having this be before Nayati and Lili make up :o 300+

One brash action and it seemed his entire life had been turned upside down. Nayati was not someone prone to acting without thinking, but this time he had and now he was suffering some severe consequences. It had seemed so logical at the time though. Well, logic really had had no part in it, but it had felt right, felt necessary. A strange man had been basically fondling his mate, how else was he supposed to react? If she had been hurt she should have called to him. True, he had no skill in healing, but he could have taken her back here to Dawali. Those were foolish thoughts though for he had never blamed Liliana. It was all that other man's fault. Just thinking about the loner brought a frown to his face. He felt he had been defending his mate's honor and the sacred bond that tied them together. Instead now she was furious with him and refused to speak with him.

At first he had felt ashamed and guilty, but the longer her silence dragged on, the more resentful he grew of it. It was not as if he had intended to make her mad. Nayati would have understood if it had been a day or so that she had been angry but now it just seemed excessive. He had gone too far, yes, but he was not malicious in his intentions. He could not understand why she was so mad at him and he was growing more miserable and irritable by the day. Now he had become just as obstinate to return the strained silence and honestly spent as much time out and away from their home as he could.

That was what the Gadui Kanati was doing now actually, languidly riding along the borders upon his stallion. He had already gone on an unsuccessful hunt that had made his mood drop even lower. With things bad with his mate, he could not even concentrate well enough to do what usually came naturally to him. Nayati was not paying much attention as Iye walked along the spiny fence that encapsulated the tribe's lands, but it was impossible to miss the tall, broad figure that paced along the opposite side of the borders. The decorated male perked up a little and called out, "Hello, do you need some help?" The younger man appeared to be a bit nervous, or uncertain.
