There's two ways you could do this. I would stick to using the HTML version, since that's easier for me.
Just replace 'URL here' with the link to where you want the X to take you once you click it.
So for example, I would replace the 'URL here' with http://www.soulsrpg.com/ipb/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2643 if I want to link to my profile. The code would then look like this: [html][x][/html]
Otherwise, you can sometimes use BBCode and essentially do the same thing, though that code looks like this:
