She started toward the deer at the same time as him, keeping slightly behind as he surged forward. He looked like he knew what to do, and before she realized it he had the deer's leg in his mouth and it was on the ground. It hadn't been a long chase, not as long as some of the chases that she had been on before, but it'd still made her a little tired; she panted as she came to a halt beside him and the fallen animal.
He was waiting for her, and she came around to its front end, holding its head down with one large paw. No chance for escape. She went for the windpipe, crushing it between her teeth, waiting for it to stop struggling.
It was over in a few minutes and she released it, the head rolling back onto the grass.
"Nice catch" She commented. He'd been really fast, catching its leg like that.
