As Saxif continued to stare in the water her reflection waved. She had not heard the approach of the other, her thoughts gone away with her yet again. All she had heard was an odd moan that caused her to look back. As if to taunt her already self-loathing moment a colourful white wolf approached. His optime form a sight like a rainbow after a long storm another kick to how plain she felt. She looked back to her reflection as he spoke to her, his tone filled with a softness she wasn't accustomed to. She smiled shyly in response to his kind words. Though she shifted away from his sudden reach, after all he was still a stranger to her.
She settled herself to face the wolf than be beside him. Her feet had gone deeper in the shallow beach. She stood with a regal pride regardless of her current insecurities. Her fluffy tail swayed side to side in a relaxed manner.
She tilted her head slightly to the side. His expression was one she had not known before. But she smiled; his words were of kind nature and filled with knowing. It was almost as if fate had knocked on her door, to keep her spirit from falling. She seemed dumbfounded by the wolf, unsure of how to respond to such kindness. So she merely responded with a soft Thank you. She had smiled softly in return her golden eyes shining with a new found happiness. This handsome rainbow of a wolf she would never forget.
