OOC here: Table & Coding © Jenny/Kiri; If she is in her lupus form it isn't likely that she would have a mane for she would look like a regular wolf and wolves don't have manes. It is in the secui form that the mane begins to grow and in optime form that it has grown long enough to act like hair. Here it show the mane protecting the neck in the secui form; 326 words

He withdrew his hand once she had moved away from him. If she didn't want to be touched then he would abide by that. After all he knew what the word no meant. He was simply used to growing up in a place where touch was a commonplace event. It was something that happened all of the time. It wasn't unusual for new acquaintances to be cuddled up to each other. That was simply the life he knew. Still he respected boundaries once they were made known to him. Addison was one that could most certainly vouch for that. She had told him not to touch without her permission and so he hadn't. Even now he still had a habit a checking with her to make sure that it was okay first.

He placed his hands down upon his lap once the female had moved away to sit and face him instead. Since she had yet to respond to his words there was little that he could do except to just simply watch her. If she continued to say nothing and just stare at him then he could easily be on his way again. After all this female was the only reason that the male of various colors had remained in this area. He was looking to strike up conversation through compliment but such didn't seem to be working.

At least at first it had appeared that way. Though when she had deigned it necessary to speak it was nothing more than two simple words. How was one to hold a conversation that way? "No thanks are needed when only the truth is spoken." He tried again, denying her polite words. He didn't say what he did in order to receive thanks. He wasn't looking for praise just for being nice. No, he was interested in something to fill his time. If he couldn't find it here then he would have to find it elsewhere then.
