OOC: Feel free to time-skip a little if you want to and assume Caspa is quietly paying attention the whole time! Of course if you prefer to write each stage out, please do cause it's very interesting :3 Mine is short though, sorry.

Paying attention to Alae's words, forgetting nearly everything else, she could feel a strong and secure sensation rising up from within, as if she really was rooted into the earth. Her spine felt stronger than concrete, as if it could go on holding her up forever. Caspa did not venerate the earth, any more than as ground to walk on and to provide footing for plants and objects, and some of Alae's words seemed foreign to her. But now she recognised it as the strongest thing she knew, and breathing carefully in the way Alae had suggested, hoped to invoke the same strength, and took that to be what the other wolf meant by connection.
