The Dreamer had spent much of his morning on a casual patrol of the northeastern borders of the territory. Pleased to discover that everything was in order, Ehno made his way back home with the intent of relaxing and maybe sneaking in a quick nap. He slipped through the Manor’s double doors, forsaking the cool, cloudy weather outside for the calm atmosphere within the Dreamer’s communal home. Ehno stepped easily through the entryway, making his way into the large common room. The room was empty and silent, with the exception of the low crackling of the fire. The chocolate-colored male settled himself onto on of the old couches, head leaned back and eyes closed. He savored the silence and allowed it to help himself unwind. When another noise briefly struck through the silence the Marino sat up, eyes blinking open and drifting toward the open doorway to the kitchen. It sounded almost like… a whine?

Curiosity and concern lifted him from his seat and brought him to the doorway. As he slipped into the kitchen, he discovered that not all of the Marinos appeared to be at ease today, however. He found that his sibling had been the one behind the pitiful whine. She was alone in the kitchen, head lowered onto the tabletop and looking quite miserable. The sight automatically kicked the brother’s protective instincts into high gear, and he wasted no time in moving to her side. He gently placed a hand upon her shoulder, amber eyes touched with worry as they looked her over. “Che cosa ti preoccupa, sorella?” he asked. It was odd to find his usually fiery sibling in such a position. Ehno could only wonder what would be troubling dear Ghita at the moment, but he hoped that he may be able to help her in some way.
