Another unsuspicious trout had become her victim before she even acknowledged his callings above the water, what did he want? Did he want her to ‘model’ for him? He hadn’t even called her by her name. Initially response less to his actions she surfaced herself partially on the bank where her weapons laid and threw her second catch to wriggle on top of the slowly suffocating fish. Turning slowly, the woman pivoted herself to face him and his trademark smile with a questionable look of mischievousness upon her expression as she met his eyes. Taking a long deep breath she submerged herself once more and began to travel underneath the lake. She wasn’t worried because her training back home had involved the need to be a good swimmer, and a calm lake was far better than some rapid river intent to smash you up along its rocky borders.

Every five to six breaststrokes she came up for air before continuing across to the shore where he was sitting underneath that tree. Once there however, she didn’t come out of the water to greet him, she just lingered at the water’s edge with her nose eyes and ears submerged above the water. She allowed a few moments of silence to form before speaking. ”Why don’t you come in? afraid of the water?” she teased, throwing a large splash aiming at him while she spoke in a somewhat innocent tone. She then raised her delicate hand above the water and attempted to lure him in with her index finger before blowing a raspberry.
