It really wasn't that hard of a task. Patience was something one had to have though. It took time to find the proper plants to be used and even more time waiting on the color to boil out of them. But apart from that there was really nothing to it. Once it was ready it was all soak, rinse, repeat sort of cycle. So it wasn't at all complicated. It was something that anyone at all could do when they knew what plants did what and how to tell if they were at the stage that they could be used. But once those basics were had there wasn't really anything at all to it.

He was surprised with her question. He had never been asked to dye someone else before. He'd been requested to do tattoos and craft other things but never to dye someone else. "You want me to dye you?" He figured that he better ask and make certain. "I could. It depends on what color you are looking for." He could probably find what color she wanted if it wasn't already boiled and rested in liquid form in his satchel. But those in his satchel would be the same colors as those already on his pelt since it hadn't been too long since he had added fresh color to himself.

What was it with everyone in this area thinking that he had to have something in return for his services? He did what he did because he could do it and someone else couldn't. He didn't see what everyone expected payment right way, if there was ever to be any. After all it even depended on if she could do something that he couldn't do for himself. "You don't have to give me anything." He spoke up in hopes to ease her worry. Where he was born they all helped each other without expecting to be rewarded. It was a much simpler way of life. And to this day he still didn't understand why everyone always thought that they needed a reward for their work.
