Anann sat, rather annoyed at that, atop the broad back of the friesian stallion. She did not know what he was up to, but Anann’s sense of direction told her they were headed to the north east. The smell of salt water becoming stronger in the air the further they went. Pulling at the strings of her heart as it reminded her of the man she had pushed out of her life. She had already tried to slide from his back in her refusal to go anywhere near the sea, but that had only lead to that large black head turning around to bite at her legs. And so she sat, arms crossed and a scowl on her face as he took her where he willed.

The sky ahead of them was dark and foreboding, the scent of rain heavy in the air over the scent of the salty sea. As they drew closer to the shore, and the storm closer to them, the angry storm clouds began to emerge from the dark, inky sky. Just what was Rem leading them into? Dark brown eyes were concentrated on the storming skies, watching the storm clouds coming charging in like a cavalry line. Powerful and frighting, yet also just a beautiful and graceful as the front moved towards the coast line. The sea too, raged with oncoming force of the storm.

Fascinated by the awe of the storm it took Anann a moment to realize that they had at last come to a stop. Eyes descending from the skyline, Anann was perplexed by the sight of a ship resting in the grass where she was fairly certain there had never been one before. Though that in itself did not explain why it was that Rem had felt the need to bring the amber wolf here. Though once she saw the familiar figure of the Russian emerging from within the ship did it dawn on her. The sight of him enough to make her heart lurch within her chest and her breath catch in her lungs. It had been months now, but the pain still felt so fresh.

Sliding gracefully from the back of the large horse, Anann found her legs felt weak as foot-paws hit the earth and she leaned against the horse for support. If Anatoliy had found himself a boat then did that mean he intended to leave? Her throat felt tight and she could feel the all to familiar of sting of tears attempting to build in her eyes. He was running away, and it was all her fault. She stood there stunned for several moments, though it seemed he had not noticed her and so Anann quickly tried remount her steed and turn back home. Rem, however, had other ideas and as the golden wolf made her to jump to his back he gave a loud squeal of defiance before turning, large hooves thundering agaisnt the earth as he galloped away to the safety of the stables. Leaving the woman rather stunned and stranded.
