M - running up that road

He glanced one last time over his shoulder to see his niece stand up and mutter something that sounded like agreement. That was a fucking shocker. Hybrid snorted derisively and then trotted away, convinced she would wake up somewhere in the clanlands the next day with a horrible hangover and the taste of guilt in her mouth. Lovely.

TIME SKIP TIME SKIP TIME SKIP TIME SKIP

Morning. Hybrid didn’t know if he could form emotions about times of the day, since he either hated them all or liked them all well enough. Perhaps he was indifferent. Perhaps he was in fact a decent fellow. He though the first was more likely, so he decided to stick with that. Indifference seemed like a fine way to live his life.

He exited his cave and began to make his way through Inferni, zigzagging back and forth across the territory to different parts of the borders. He tried to find new paths to take, but as always, there was no one to find. He detested the stupid wolves who claimed ‘they didn’t know the area was pack territory’ or that they had ‘gotten lost’ or ‘just wanted to ask a few questions.’ None of them were really wolves if they thought intruding would get them anywhere, but at least it gave him something to do. He hated them but he liked hating them. He needed it.

He paused and yawned loudly as he stretched out his muscles. He yawned again and shook out the kinks in his neck. The birds were singing and he was awake and ready to find some wolves to eat.
