The man sniffed about, leg muscles tight as he scented the woman nearby but still unable to figure out exactly where. His head swiveled as he tried hard to find his love, feeling a whine almost vibrate out of his throat. But then, the noise clanked in a little shack or building, whatever it was. Anatoliy could tell her scent was strong here but something felt off about it. Something was not the same and the man was starting to feel a fear well up inside his chest.

"Anann?" inquired the man softly at the barred door, fiddling with the board in front of the door. It was definitely to keep the woman inside, if she were in there. But her scent was so strong, how could she not be there? He hefted the board off; it was heavy, heavy enough to block the door from the inside, though still not terribly difficult for the built man to lift. It clanked to the ground with a muffled thump, the wood a tad wet from rain. The door swung out, and he slowly opened it. What he found almost made him want to cry. Chains. Chains was not what he wanted to see. "Anann..," he croaked out softly, his voice a whimper as he saw her. "Vhat has he done to you.."
