Yes, it would seem that the girl was too young to contain such a fierce hatred already but when everything you loved and cared about were ripped away from you then what could you help but to feel? Perhaps it wouldn't have been as strongly felt if it hadn't been the exact same species to commit both acts. It was that coincidence that had cemented her opinion of wolves. She had never had a pleasant dealing with them and therefore thought them all to be evil. She didn't have any encounters to change her opinion of them and clearly this one wasn't about to either. How could it when Symera already made it known just what she thought of the other?
The small girl gave a firm a shake of her head in clear disagreement to the other female's assessment. "No. It stinks. Mr. Squishy does not stink." Well the dead bird probably did smell foul but it wasn't the scent of decay that bothered her but simply the scent that marked the other as being a wolf. it wasn't an odor that could ever be changed and so therefore the other would always be stinky to her since Melee could never stop being a wolf. So it wasn't an issue of hygiene in the slightest.
The pup growled as her mother was brought up in such a flippant manner. "Stinky killed my mother. Stinky took my home." She had every right in the world to be upset. And with Melee simply being what she was she got the blame for the wrongs that Symera had to endure in such a short span of time. Just like the other had no idea what the pup had been through Symera had no idea that Melee had nothing to do with any of that and so knew nothing at all about it. Instead she thought the older girl to be mocking her because of her loss at the hands of one of Melee's species.
