There weren't any other puppies here, something that made him a little sad. Didn't anyone else want puppies of their own? He was used to being around a lot of others from his age group, instead of a bunch of adults. They were fun, too, but Sirius didn't understand them sometimes.
Puppies were just easier to talk to. "I dunno! I thinked maybe you came to see Da or TayTay." They were the leaders, and he'd heard that wolves often came in looking for them.
