Still pools investigated the strange, short Bastion as he appeared and moved past him with a small nod in acknowledgement. Blonde ears inched lower against lengthy locks draped with darker shades. The pack member was an intriguing specimen in the flawed Prince’s eyes. Bastion had played one of the greater roles at the dinner with a certain disobedient slave, and it brought fresh curiosity forth to see the shorter canine move in the direction of the armed stranger.
Red eyes turned to linger with the two males for a few more lengthy moments before his feet shifted and quietly brought him in an excruciating slow circle. Itachi wasn’t his mother, and had a long climb to overcome to reach her level of expertise. But he left not a sound in his footprints, and bleeding sunset hues regularly paced between his path and the two other canines.
He thought Bastian’s method of interaction was a peculiar one, but it seemed to disarm the other. The Protégé did not know which motive he was supposed to choose though. The natural thing would be to walk away, quietly, and leave it to the other Salsolan. Itachi was aware of Salsola’s supposed ways, and did wonder if others followed unwritten rules about outsiders. The Lykoi’s eyes seemed to prefer Bastion’s face, as if searching for answers for this situation. After all, he was very far from being a mind reader.
