Mom... Gunnar groaned softly as she pulled him into another hug. He awkwardly gave her back a pat before she let go, leaving him to smooth the fur she'd ruffled slightly, not that it would ever go flat. She suddenly told him to come and ran off excitedly, into the other room that so far, he'd yet to find a use for. He followed slowly and watched her from the doorway, an amused and crooked grin slowly crawling onto his face.
He'd never seen her so uppity before. If he had, it'd been too long to remember. Mom, what are you doing...? He murmured as she darted past him, bundles of fur, cloth and blankets in her arms. He got no real answer. She went about this for a few minutes, decorating the room as if it were suddenly important, and then she stopped to grab the pants she'd found and bring them to him.
Oh. ...Thanks. He grinned wider, this time hiding the slight discomfort he felt; apparently, to Valinta, clothing wasn't an optional thing. He took them from her and wandered into the room, now realizing she had decorated it for him to use. It had a long way to go before he'd consider it finished, but for now, this would do.
He dressed quickly, used to doing so though he fumbled a few times on purpose so his mother wouldn't catch on. Once dressed (or well, half dressed), he turned and opened his arms to show off the 'outfit'. Look good to you? It was about time he got his own room, not to mention clothes! Valinta was so proud... his bad mood, whatever had been left of it, was gone.
The pants covered his legs but in his optime form, those scars on his chin and chest were more visable, some from his puphood, others from the fight with that bitch who'd never be named. They hugged his hips nicely, despite the low waistline due to his tail. He was already fit and toned, which worked for him under all that fur. A handsome devil.
