The little D'Angelo girl greatly feared reaching out to other canines. She was afraid of putting her faith in many canines any more because of the losses she had suffered and the pain that she had gone through in her short life. She couldn't trust that any canine wouldn't turn and walk away or that she wouldn't get hurt again if she tried to interact with someone new. A creature of habit, she was. Wretch scratched at her upper arm a bit as she stood in the shadows, watching as even more canines arrived and joined the group.
Wretch noticed others reaching for bottles of wine and came forward for a moment to snatch one up for herself, glancing nervously about before she retreated back to her shadowed hiding place. She took a quick sip, letting the taste settle on her tongue as she pulled the bottle back. Interesting...quite unlike anything she had ever tasted before. She took another sip and slowly looked around. Jace stood nearby, back away from the group as well, and she seemed to have noticed Wretch.
She padded over to the pregnant canine, noting her large belly. Soon her pups would come, hopefully. Wretch didn't know how it felt to carry around pups inside, but it didn't look like it was too comfortable. "How are you feeling?" She asked the other in a slight whisper, head tilting to the side. "They'll come pretty soon right?"
