Kiara eye'd the young pup and chuckled a little as she batted a the arctic wolf's nose with her small paws. The small child was weak, but she had spirit. Kiara gently muzzled the young pup before turning back to the scene that was unfolding. Jace had run over and the the stranger was backing off. It seemed like he had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time, which unfortunately had made him a suspect of murder. Jace showing up had probably made the situation worse because she was a new mom and was more likely to use violence. Then again, Shiloh and Kavi had just become new moms as well.

While the death of the wolf family was sad, Kiara was happy that Shiloh had gotten a puppy to look after. Perhaps the young one could heal some of Shiloh's wounds. The alabaster wolf stayed by Shiloh's side as she approached the stranger. Even if he had not killed the family, the black male was still armed and was very much a wild card. The arctic wolf eye'd Aleo, but she did not threaten him. Shiloh was acting a lot bolder than normal and a small smile worked its way across Kiara's lips. Kiara turned her sapphire eyes back to the Sarian and watched as she suckled on her mother's fingers. With some luck, Shiloh might start producing milk for the young pup. Such an occurrence was not uncommon among regular wolves, but could the luperci do it too? Kiara muzzled the young pup again, if Shiloh did not start producing milk, then perhaps Kiara might.
