The wolf had yet to stop and dismount when he heard the call of a familiar voice. His ears swiveled, turning towards the tone of his niece and his head followed. She was riding, though with his experienced eye he could tell that she was struggling slightly. It was nothing that a little more practice wouldn't take care of. He had had to wait till he could find a large enough horse to begin riding, she was lucky to begin as soon as she was able to capture her Optime form.

Alder waved, a smile now on his face. He missed his brother and his little family. The pups were getting so big, growing into their own and Alder knew there was no room for him. It had been time to get out onto his own. It was simply lonely at times. Robin! He exclaimed, he held the reins to turn Hawthorn to head towards her but the horse was already heading in that direction. The mare was one Alder caught him looking at often. Alder did insist that they approach calmly as to not startle the horse his niece was sitting upon.

You look well, atop a horse. He commented, reining in the stallion as to not allow him to get too curious around the mare. Alder paused, and then spoke of his intention. I was heading to the city to clean up some of the damage the AniWayans did. The pack could use your help. He remembered the way his mother spoke, gentle and encouraging and yet firm and clear. It had always helped him when watching Robin and her litter when they were mere pups.
