Kiara wasn't sure what had caused X'yrin such distress, but Kiara was happy to see the pain fade away from her golden face. The arctic wolf balked a little when the nomad said 'mothers' as in plural. Kiara was by no means Sarian's mother, although she greatly wished this was the reality. Instead, Kiara was Sarian's caretaker and helped take some of the burden off of her real mother's hands. It was not only Kiara's job as an Ikusei, but her job as a friend.
Although the prospect of having a night off was more than welcome, Kiara wondered if X'yrin knew exactly what she was signing up for. Even the snow wolf had not completely expected the amount of energy and time young Sarian required from both her guardians. Would the nomad be able to handle the young puppy? "So your going to take the whirlwind off our hands tonight? Just be warned, your not going to sleep if you do."
