Through the crowd Neela moved like a ghost, stopping here and there to spin with a partner before moving on, dodging both the hands of those more clingy dancers and those who's hands attempted to stray inappropriately with a grace that belied her drunken state. It was one of these spinning dodges that brought her almost crashing into the chest of a much larger canine. Neela retrieved herself from the other's chest in time to feel a pair of hands wrap around her waist and pull her into a spin, drawing her closer to the larger wolf.
Words drifted into her ears and Neela looked up, recognition flashing into her eyes as she took in the golden and crimson fire that adorned the large frame before her. Evidently Neela was slightly less far gone than her newly acquire companion as she was just able to dredge up a name from her memories, "Me too, Xaireen right?" The intoxicated collie slurred, her presently clumsy mouth horribly butchering X'yrin's name.
Neela was drawn in closer and her eyes flashed, going wish the movement for a moment before she ducked down and out, snagging the larger woman's hand as she moved outwards and spinning under it, pulling the larger woman with her for a few seconds before she returned to their previous position. "Haven’t been many Ichikans 'ere that I've seen" Neela remarked as she span. Indeed, not counting Dalgina who Neela had brought with her for a short while, Neela hadn’t seen many members of the populous pack at the festivities, though the bustle meant it wasn't impossible that she had just missed them.
Neela's tail wagged behind her, enjoying the chance to dance with somebody from her pack, and she shifted, one hand falling to X'yrin's waist and the other taking her hand as Neela tried to pull against the nomad and lead her in a staggering parody of a waltz, laughing all the while.
