Somewhere between the taste of the whiskey and Neela's tongue going numb because of said whiskey the collie had managed to clear the taste of mud out of her mouth, sending her mind further into the pleasant drunken haze it was in during the process.
Neela snickered at X'yrin's reaction to the male's departure, though that turned somewhat sour when X'yrin inquired to the taste in her mouth, "Yeah, like deer an wine." Neela replied, reaching out and taking X'yrin's hand. There was a small period of time where the collie pulled on X'yrin's hand, wondering why she wasn't moving, before she let go, holding her hand up in front of her face and staring at it pensively.
Think s'methin's wrong with ma hand." Neela muttered, her mind jumping to the first (il)logical conclusion it could think of for her failure to be lifted off the floor. Deciding to try other methods of getting upright Neela decided to use her legs and kicked out. Unfortunately her lack of directional sense meant that Neela ended up kicking directly into the air, leaving the collie on her back, legs kicking like a stranded turtle for nearly half a minute before she realised she wasn't going anywhere and just slumped to the ground, thoroughly confused.
"Ah think ah've drunk too much. Or mebbe not enough. Yeah, tha's it. Ah need ta drink more." Neela reached for her bottle of whiskey, only to let out a low whine and droop her ears when she realised that the bottle was empty. The collie brought an eye to the bottles rim, as though searching for where the remaining whiskey inside the bottle might be hiding, only to let out a yelp and yank the bottle away as one last drop of the liquid slid down and into her eye. "No more whiskey." Neela muttered despondently, staring at the bottle in her hand.
