Beating the Master at their Own Game

What temple? was what Caspa wanted to know. Did he really have a temple? It would be fascinating to find a place that was truly set apart for those who wished to practice their piety in order to transcend the sins of the world. He had probably used it as a metaphor, though, he was vague enough for that. Her lips set in a grim line as she blinked around for Terra, before realising the unfamiliar looking animal before her was in fact a two headed beast: a closely entwined pair of coyote-golden animals, but she did not even have time to make a withering remark before the one she knew peeled away and came for her with a walk that made even Caspa's blood prickle, her words seemed still laced with whatever honey she had been whispering to the male. "I take my eyes off you for one moment…" Caspa muttered under her breath, then jerked her head towards her little barrow and walked with her friend in that direction. "Why did you tell him he was dying? Did you want to frighten him?" she asked after a moment, having only just digested fully Terra's words. "And who was that coyote?" A small twinkle in her eye now. She wanted in on this secret.
