Hadley was startled by Selene's words. Looking down at the curled hybrid he realized she was already drunk. Well, that was funny. She hadn't even gotten past halfway. He chortled at her words of remembering things before the bottle, taking his own with another deep drink. Hadley didn't know what to think of being called sweetheart, but it was probably just drunken blather. Selene burst into laughter, chortling to herself before apologizing.
Hadley laughed, brushing the hair out of her face. Don't worry. We'll just keep the fact that you can't drink our little secret. He winked playfully, taking another sip of his wine. It was almost completely empty now, Hadley getting drunk as well. He leaned over. I'll be taking advantage of that, you know. He leaned in, kissing Selene on the lips, a passionate kiss instead of the hesitant one he would have granted sober.
