The warmth of the sun on his dark pelt nearly lulled the prince to sleep, his eyes becoming heavier and heavier. A soft thrum of contentment sounded from his throat as his littermate drew closer and rested his pale head over top of Severus. It was a strong bond, the one between siblings, stronger than almost any other out there. Normally one to snap at affection because he didn’t need it, he actually enjoyed Octa’s closeness. Even when they argued or messed with each other, he knew they’d always be able to get over it. The warmth of Octa’s pelt added to his comfort, and he was nearly asleep when Octa answered his question.

Messing around the stables mostly, he murmured, thinking back to the condescending looks from the ravens in the village. And…trying to get used to Optime. It was a big thing for the grey male to offer up a moment of weakness, but Octavius was one of the only people he felt he could trust. His voice held tones of complaint, for he knew that his pale brother was more practiced in his form and just…generally better looking in it. Kind of bored really, he continued, twitching his ears. With a stretch, Sev pushed his forepaws out before him and arched his back a bit, trying not to disturb his brother. He made a good pillow he supposed.

This whole gardening thing is…interesting huh? he said, suddenly grinning at a bad idea. He knew that some of the herbs grown in that garden were less than innocent, and he heard whispers that it put one into a whole different world. Maybe he could convince his brother to find some of that and try it? I should find some way to help out, he said, the smirk causing his leathery black lips to pull from his fangs a little. Maybe you could help find me something to do? Could be interesting!
