The girls tail wagged back and forth and she held still as Isa put the pendant around her neck. ”You’re welcome sweetheart.” She was happy to spoil Adelle, she realized she thought of Adelle as her own in a way. Isa acted the way she would with her own pups someday. The pup did the best she could to look at the rose around her neck. Adelle lifted her head proudly and Isa smiled at the young girl, happy to see that she liked the gift.
Once Isa took off, Adelle followed quickly behind. Since she was stronger and faster than the last time Isa had seen her, the young girl was able to catch up to her. She looked over and smiled at Adelle as they ran side by side. The pup seemed to be trying to run past Isa but couldn’t do it. Isa slowed down slightly, making Adelle able to be just a step ahead. Isa knew the girl was trying to surpass her and wanted to boost her confidence and hoped Adelle wouldn’t notice that she was slowing down on purpose.
