Watching the two young ones fight, Kiara had to admit, was a little amusing. Their were very small, so their contests were more for position then anything else. The new mother didn't know if it was just coincidence or if they really did have to cognitive ability to fight one another. Either way, the two siblings seemed to be getting into several simple spats. Kiara hoped that the behavior wouldn't continue on as they got older. Having to separate them when they were so small was bad enough. Once they got bigger it would be a whole lot harder to keep them apart. Kiara sighed slightly, wondering what exactly she had gotten herself into. At least the two sisters didn't push each other around as much.
Dalgina took the news that they didn't have names surprisingly well. She was so young that the older wolf wondered if she just didn't know any better. After all, until her own litter was born, Dalgina and her siblings had been the youngest members of the pack. Kiara smiled as Dalgina announced she would give the puppies nicknames. The white mother made a mental note to herself to prevent the names from sticking in her head. She didn't want her children to wander around as Snow, Picture, and Wander for the rest of their lives. Although they were good nicknames, they would make horrible real names.
"They fit, don't they. You picked good nicknames, well done Dalgina." Kiara turned and nuzzled her puppies gently before turning and nuzzling her charge. Playfully, the arctic wolf pulled on Dalgina's ears and smiled.
