Adelle ducked as she growled. She tried to dodge Isa’s attack but the older woman was too fast and she took the pup down. Adelle squirmed around, trying to get free. She barked and got a grip on Isa’s fur. She held on tight and it seemed the pup wasn’t going to give up. Isa chuckled, letting the pup win. Come Adelle, we need to wash up. Isa shifted and quickly scooped the pup into her arms. She carried her to a creek that was big enough for them to wash off the mud. I’ll teach you more English once you’re clean. She hoped it was a good enough incentive as she set Adelle down. Isa stepped into the creek, the water only reaching her ankles. It was good enough though. Isa washed all the mud off of her body and stepped out, shaking herself dry. She looked back at Adelle to see how the pup was doing.
