The pup knew something was up as Isa approached her, a small frown on her face. Adelle shrunk down, doing her best to cling to the ground. It was against her though, yielding the pup easily into Isa's grasp. She was carried back to the water, despite her yelps and whines begging not to. Adelle did her best to stay clinging to Isa after that, but she ended up in the water anyways, cold and damp. Adelle moved to run out of the water, only to be grabbed and held still.

Huddled down in a lump Adelle stared at the water, sulking as the mud was scrubbed off, cold water splashed over her again and again. The clear water disappeared, turning brown as the debris was taken off. There were so many layers, her ears being scratched the only part of this that was even mildly pleasant. Slowly other colors became visible under the uniform brown color, a faded yellow here, a grayish patch there. The dirt and mud continued to be washed, until finally a very wet, very unhappy pup stood there, her body washed for the first time in a couple weeks. She'd never gotten this dirty before so there'd been no need, but it was still enough to set her sulking. No like.
