The tension and anxiety that had been building inside Neela started to recede at the friendly reception she was receiving. Between the reassuring presence of Tony close by her side and Jazper's welcoming manner the collie finally started to relax, her muscles loosening where they had been coiled tight with nervousness. "Thank you sir." she mumbled when Jazper said she was welcome to stay.
Jazper asked after her skills, a standard question for one joining a pack it seemed, and Neela took a few seconds to compose her thoughts. Tony had said this pack was a warrior pack hadn't he? Best to start with that then.
Err, Ah can fight. Not that strong but I'm quick and I've been trained; fairly good with my bare hands an with knives." Neela wiggled her hindquarters, making the knives loosely strapped to her back clank quietly. Fighting was all good and well but not even a pack of warriors would spend all the time in conflict, "Other'n tha 'm a sailor. Got my own boat, kinda a mix between a fishing trawler and a small trader. 'M a fair carpenter as well, mainly specialise in buildings and large boats; used to make a living building boats half the time and fishing in them the rest 'o it."
Hopefully that would be enough to make herself useful around her new home. As much as Neela wanted to stay around Tony she hated the thought of intruding on a pack just because she was in a relationship with the leader son. That had Neela thinking, she didn't actually know what sort of relation ship she had with Tony; up until now she had been to busy denying there was one at all to really think about it. Neela gave the subject a few seconds thought before banishing it; she had more important things to concentrate on right now.
