It seemed the whole group seemed to be studying eachother, watching and waiting for their cue. Firefly ignored the cool eyes of the other as she turned away from watching her packmates. She wasn't for certain how things between Haku and her even stood anymore, but she pushed those thoughts away as a prickle of doubt seemed to try and edge in under her skin. She didn't have the time or the energy to even be bothered by her own personal issues at the moment, she was here on a mission with the other scouts from their pack.

The scent of Haku kept drifting over her as she turned her emerald orbs to stare at the two coyotes who were sulking along their borders. It was more thna obvious that the two wanted nothing more to do with their time than to play games and bicker back and forth, having no knowledge of the ambush that waited just outside their borders for them to come a little closer to the edge. She bared her fangs slightly as her eyes danced with excitement, she tried not to let it show but it was obvious that she was more than ready for the clash that would take place.

Her wounds had healed over the past few days and she was feeling more herself than ever, except for slight memories of the fight that Haku and her had got into after he'd picked up her battered and bruised body from the shores near her mother's homelands. She closed her eyes for a moment, still angry at the second in command for snapping at her for the things she'd done when she knew well enough that he had been less than faithful, atleast the scents that clung to his pelt from time to time made her believe that, right or wrong she didn't care. How was she suppose to know what their relationship was exactly when no one ever had actually spoke. She couldn't read his mind. She gave up and opened her eyes again with a soft snarl as she heard the soft words issued.

With a sudden launch of strength she pulled away from the group, moving swift and low through the brush as she headed towards the two patroling their lands. She burst from between a small pair of stunned bushes as she lunged for the larger of the two. Barreling into the male she knocked his feet out from under him and her fangs snapped at his exposed throat. He was barely able to recover into time to save his life, though her fangs still drove in deep, scraping along his collarbone as blood welled into her maw. The excitement of the hunt flowed through her body as the raid began.
