A smile lifted from the small white dog, encouraging Hadley. She didn't mind his presence, actually seeming to appreciate it. His tail wagged shyly behind him, looking up to her. Even if she was smaller Dixie was a giant in his mind, perfectly capable of standing against him. Good...are you well? His ears flicked a little, wondering if he should have used a better greeting rather than chasing after what it was she was doing right away. That probably would have been the better choice, instead of doing what he had. Hadley didn't care for using too many words though, and had chosen to say what had seemed most important. He didn't want to talk too much.


The chickens didn't have a place to stay? Hadley was surprised to hear that. Building a home for them was pretty important then. A safe place for them to stay. Hadley was surprised it hadn't been done before. He hesitated for a moment at her words. He did want to help, but was uncertain if she would really be comfortable with his presence.
