OOC goes here for all your OOC needs

Soft steps announced Dixie's return. The hybrid continued working, only the swivel of his ears indicating that he knew she was there. He'd wanted to be finished by the time she was back, but there were still some odds and ends to clear out from the wagon. He looked over at her words, tail shyly wagging. Asked if he wanted to take a break Hadley looked over the supplies again. Would that really be alright? They had a lot they had to do to get the coop up.

He accepted the canteen, gently drinking it back. That felt good after all the work he'd been doing, awakening him again and giving him a fresh wave of energy. It made him more keenly aware of how hungry he was as well unfortunately. Hadley took a few pieces of meat, leaving the majority for Dixie to eat. Carefully he worked on eating the pieces without scarfing them down and looking like he'd been starved.
