An Expedition

Hotaru knelt down, digging through the pile she had brought. Terra had no idea what any of it was worth, though at least half of it were stolen goods. Mixed in there was bright gold, and a beautiful red blouse, cutting off as a midriff. There were also simply some shiny stones that Terra had picked up, with no value to anyone but the coyote that had so admired the way the light had caught off it, and a scrap of fabric so small nothing could truly be made from it. The range of worth was great, though to Terra the ruby was worth just as much as the rock it sat next to.

As soon as the items were accepted Terra was back among the animals, hands running over them. Terra might not know their other uses, but she did know how to pick a good meal. Hands ran through, measuring their thickness, how quiet they were, and other such uses. The funny sheep Terra was less sure of, mostly poking at them. Glancing over to Taliesin Terra grinned, pointing to him. What about that sheep? Is he any good? They did look rather similar with the white fur and docile manner.
