The water would wash the scents of the past day off of him, making it impossible for anyone to know he had been with her, or to connect this wolf's scent to him...unless they found the body, of course. He would need to do something about it soon...but maybe he would wait. If someone had taken care of it by the end of the day, he would know that this wolf wasn't alone. If no one had, he could probably rest easy...or at least as easy as he ever did when on guard. ~The lyrics are from the best song ever written. |
