Oddly, after scaring Fayne, the stranger assumed a more dominant position which only caused the silver wolf to recoil some more. Generally, she would duke it out with the stranger to show her she was boss, but not today. She simply shriveled up some more, tail coming to hang limply behind her and ears pushed back as she gazed at the large dog who wasn't threatening in the least. Ears flicked at the name Casa. Fayne was still at a lack of knowledge for the packs around here. New Dawn was her home and it was all she knew. It was all she needed. Regardless, she introduced herself with the kindness she held for everyone. The energized way of the pup was refreshing. "Adelle is a pretty name. I'm Fayne Gremory, from New Dawn. We prefer to live on all fours the way our ancestors did."
The small she-wolf couldn't help but crack a smile. Adelle's demeanor was infectious. Large rump planted on the ground, tongue happily hanging from her mouth. She was just a large puppy. The pup's next question caught her off guard, head lowering and smile fading as she thought of the horrid scar she now had. It wasn't even a battle she'd obtained it from. If so, it wouldn't be so bad. At least she would have earned it. Emerald eyes averted Adelle's gaze focusing on a tree behind her. She spoke in a dolor voice. "Yeah...from battle." She came to meet the pup's gaze. "You want scars? Why?" Why would anyone want marking like this? They were reminders of failure and in Fayne's case, reminders that there were evil Luperci out there to be avoided.
