Although it had been only been two weeks, Smoke, the foal Rio had bore, was a lively and friendly. Her mother was on riding rest for a while of course. But Io was determined not to let her go too waste while she waited and so that morning she had mounted Neo and collected the two females from their stall. Th filly followed on well, naturally shy and almost intimidated by Neo, but as the large, pale creature paid him little attention, neither good nor bad when he did, the ride was uninterrupted. Io kept Neo moving slowly, controlling him with great strength through means of his thick mane. Rio followed beside him faithfully, no halter or rope to tie them together. And, in turn, beside her, the small, dark coloured foal.

In contrast, Jaroslaw was not as pleased with the breeding program in Aniwaya. He'd only been told that morning that Neo had mounted his own mare, Gda. The grey hybrid had muttered for a while about how he'd not be able to use her for ages and how she'd be rendered useless. Although his mate had told him she was still ridable, he'd paid little heed to it.

Io pulled upon Neo's mane, leaning forward to tug on Rio's too and whistle to the little filly. For a moment she was surprised, silver orbs narrowing to gaze at what she was sure she'd seen but then again, was aghast at the narrow possibility. A tiger. Tygrys...' she mused, her eyes sailing over what she'd only seen in books and heard of in stories. The creature looked lean and with that though Io spoke, 'You. Do you speak?' She meant of course high speech, any kind, any language. While she should have been scared, she was more in wonder.
