The lesson was going great as she went through the alphabet with him. It seemed she was stronger than she looked or she was straining herself too hard. He couldn’t tell which though, but he knew if she really needed to stop she would and he would’t force her. Then as they got to the Z she spoke. His heart felt like it stopped. Why would she be telling him this? He knew he had feelings for her. That he wanted to be with her, and though she acted affectionate towards him he didn’t know where she lay. was this a sign that he should get in gear and learn what she meant?
“Oh?”
It made him wonder, was their drunken kiss not her first kiss? It had been his and though it was done in an improper way he didn’t regret it one bit. He stopped to look at Palaydrian, wondering what she had on her mind, why she would tell him this and who he was so he could punch the man in the face. Oh the wonderful joys of the mans first thoughts of jealousy as he wondered even further, why did she kiss him, did she like this other male and wanted Jiva to know to back away? He would have to wait to find out. He said nothing more but just looked at her quizzically.
