Jaden had been confined to two legs for so long. Being able to shift from form to form was something that had become part of his life. Preference of speed over dexterity had been a simple thought to change from biped to quadruped. He had taken it for granted. But being trapped in one form due to his broken ribs was beginning to really get to the obsidian man. At first he had easily spent his time training or maintaining his various pieces of gear. But there was only so much you could do on two paws. He had broken down to running about the boarder in his free time, trying desperately to achieve the speed his missed to no avail.
It was this he was doing when a call broke through the day. It wasn’t far off and actually happened to be in the general direction the optime was headed in the first place. He continued on at a quick pace and ignored the gentle ache he had become accustomed to from his injury until they came into view. X’yrin had managed to beat him to the punch and now sat introducing herself to a tall, well-armed, and dark cloaked figure. A flag of caution went up in the former assassins mind. This man reminded him too much of other assassins he had met. Reminded him a bit of himself too even though he was a wee bit taller and wore different scars, they could have practically been blood.
